Growing up in the vibrant world of family business, I was immersed in the intricacies and dynamics that shape such enterprises from an early age. Though I was not selected to lead as the second-generation successor, my passion and concern for family business matters have remained deeply rooted in my DNA and heart.
With over 20 years of working experience across diverse industries, I have honed my expertise and broadened my understanding of business operations and strategy. This journey eventually led me to entrepreneurship and the founding of a research center dedicated to the advancement of family businesses. The center’s mission is to guide and connect family business members, emphasizing the importance of integrating ESG values into their operations for sustainable growth. My vision extends beyond the research center. I aspire to lead family enterprises on a journey to visit the top 100 oldest companies in Asia and Europe, where they can learn from the best practices and strategies of leading organizations. Ultimately, I aim to consolidate my experiences and insights into a book that will serve as a valuable resource for future generations of family business leaders.
I am currently undertaking a second doctoral degree with a focus on family business innovation. In addition, I am collaborating with academic experts from Hong Kong and Singapore to further refine and advance the research in this domain. Concurrently, my institute will be publishing complementary research to enhance and solidify the extensive study of family business. I am dedicated to applying my expertise and aligning my efforts with the mission of advancing knowledge in this field.
