This executive study visit offers a curated immersion into how China’s time-honored enterprises modernize operations while preserving legacy, craftsmanship, and brand trust. Set in Beijing, the program provides first-hand exposure to iconic family-owned and heritage brands undergoing transformation through Industry 4.0 practices.

Participants will visit selected legacy enterprises across food, beverage, manufacturing, and cultural industries to examine how automation, digital systems, quality management, and supply chain integration are applied in real operating environments. Each visit goes beyond observation, combining on-site exposure with management sharing and guided reflection to translate insights into practical strategies.

Designed specifically for family-owned enterprises, business owners, and senior decision-makers, this program focuses on actionable learning—bridging tradition and innovation to support long-term competitiveness in an evolving industrial landscape.

Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai (Pudong) 7.05am – 12.35pm

Penang to Shanghai (Pudong) 8.30am – 1.50pm 

✈️ 17 January 2025  (Friday)

Shanghai (Pudong) to Kuala Lumpur 1.40pm – 7.50pm

Shanghai (Pudong)to Penang 1.50am – 7.30am

Airport Transfer, Hotel Check-In & Airfare Policy

✈️ Airport pick-up will be arranged at Beijing Capital International Airport, with transportation provided from the airport to the hotel.

🕒 Please note that the hotel’s standard check-in time is after 3:00pm. To ensure a smooth schedule and adequate rest, participants are strongly encouraged to check in on the 17th and rest accordingly. The group will depart together on the morning of the 18th to commence the scheduled program.

🏨 Participants who arrive earlier than the 17th or require early check-in are required to make their own accommodation arrangements at their own cost.

💺To comply with HRDCorp’s 50% reimbursement policy, participants are required to book Economy class airfare only. Air tickets booked under other travel classes will not be eligible for reimbursement or approval.
